Revo-Classic Assassin Guide

Assassin, thief's second job, are the only class able to equip a weapon on both hands and the exclusive users of Katar weapons. They can either go dagger or katar type. They specialize in poison skills as well, and if that's not enough, they can go invisible and strike you when you least expect it.

Changing job to Assassin

Step 1 Step 2

Assassin guild is located at the center moc_fild16. From morocc, go 2 maps south and 2 maps east

Talk to the guildsman at the end of the hallway to start the test, and he'll warp you to an empty room.

Step 3 Step 4

You'll be sent to kai(he's behind a pillar on the right), talk to him until he warps you to the next room.

In the next room, take a few steps forward to trigger an invisible NPC. She'll ask you 10 questions and you need to get 9/10 correct answers to pass.

Question sets

One of these question sets will be asked to you.

Step 5 Step 6

Once you pass the test, enter her chatroom and you'll be warped to the next test room.

You'll be given a specific monster name and you must kill the monster that matches the given name. Also, avoid falling down the holes. A portal will open once you pass this test

In the next room, walk past the monsters as quickly as you can. An NPC is waiting at the end of the room,

Step 7

The last part of the test is getting to the guildmaster through invisible walls. The yellow line on the image is the correct path. Once you get to the guildmaster, he'll ask you a few questions. Any answer is correct.

After talking to the guildmaster, you'll be warped out to the entrance. Just talk to guildsman on step 1 and he will change you to an assassin.

Leveling spots

Sandman / Mystcase / Argiope / Orcs Pyramids / Sphinx Minorous / Alarms / Stalactic golems / High orcs
Easy - Medium Easy - Medium Medium
• Just outside the assassin guild are sandmans, you can start here as a fresh assassin to get your first few levels.
• If sandmans aren't your type, you can either go to Myst case or whack some argiopes, you can also put orcs on your list
• At the lower levels of sphinx and pyramids, there are good monster densities and they give fair exp for low levels. You can start here and work your way to upper levels. Let's not forget the rare items that you can get here. • Minorous offer great exp with great drops. Just be careful if you're low level, minorous casts hammerfall and heaven's drive which can lead to your death once it hits. Just backslide if you see them casting.
• Alarms attack slow but hit hard. Be sure to use hide when you're sorrounded. There are also high orcs on clock tower. See the pink circle in the image.
• You can also use grimtooth to kill lumps of monsters
• With your flee, you don't have to worry about getting blinded by alarms, but bring green pots to be sure.
• When dealing with stalactic golems, you apply the other tips here since they also attack slow and has low hit. Be careful of stalactic golem's stun attack though
Magma dungeon Glash heim Comodo Field Sphinx
Medium - Hard Medium - Hard Medium Medium - Hard
• If you're able to get your hands on a water katar(or dagger), you can go here. Katar wielders have an advantage though since they can kills mobs with grimtooth.
• Wear fire armor (pasana card)
• Once you're approaching late game, you can already solo raydrics. Indicated on the map is the location of raydrics. • Another option is hunting anolians at comodo field. There are also anolians at Glasth heim but the anolians here spawn instantly. • Anubis is your main target here, the exp you can get from a single anubis is 28,000 base exp and 22,000 job exp. This exp is incredibly high, so don't pass up on this one.
• Be sure to have bathory/evil druid armor, to negate dark soul strike.
• You can also enter the portal on the center if you want to mob Pasanas.
