Revo-Classic Monk Guide
Monk is the alternate class of priests but unlike them, monks are built to destroy. They are mostly known for their powerful skill 'Asura Strike' which has the highest damage in-game a second class can deliver. Specialized Monk builds can be very efficient in any scenario.
Changing job to Monk

Go to the monk temple and speak with Guarding Monk. Let him know that you want to be a monk. |
Speak with Sensei Moohae and he'll give you a list of items to collect. You can skip this test at job 50. |

Talk to Touha. This is a memory test and she'll ask you to repeat what she said. TIP: Take a screenshot on what she said.

Speak with Boohae and he'll ask you about your test with Touha. After answering his questions, he'll let you choose on which test you would like to have.
Always choose mushroom collection over marathon since it's easier. |
Speak with Bashu to start the test of your choice Mushroom collection is the same as thief quest. You need to collect: |

Enter the portal behind Bashu and speak with Tomoon. The test is getting to the other side of the room by passing invisible walls. Kill spawning monsters. |
Return to Moohae and answer his questions about becoming a monk. He'll turn you into a monk afterwards. |

| Get your first few skill points by leveling up on this map. | If you're taking it easy and don't want to spend for potions, you can start with byalan then go deeper as you level. You can also go to ayothaya for easy job exp. | At mid level, you can go to either Pyramids or Sphinx. If you have a leecher, you can skip this map and go straight to high level maps. |
• Use occult impact on stalactic golems. they give high exp and drop various ores which can be sold to blacksmiths. • Stalactic golems can cast stun attack, so be sure to have enough vit, stun resist, or flee equips to survive. |
• Alarms drop clip[1] which is a valuable equipment. You can hunt here if you have enough Def and HP since monsters here are aggressive and can mob you. • Alarms can cast blind, bring green pots. • Snap out when mobbed. |

• Magma dungeon, the holy grail of zeny makers. Distance yourself and use finger offensive. • Wear fire armor (pasana card) • Use ice weapon for max damage • Snap out when mobbed • Use occult impact on high def monsters since it increases damage base on enemy's def. |
Once you're approaching high level, you can go to GH. this map offers lots of leveling spots for different classes. As a monk be sure that you can kill enemies fast enough since monsters here deal high damage, can mob you, and spawns quickly. | Another famous spot for high levels is the turtle dungeon. Monster density here is high, so you don't have to worry about running out of monsters to kill. Be sure that you can kill mobs faster than they spawn. Go to the next levels for more exp and monsters. |
• Another high level spot is Nifflheim field 2. Get a priest to aspersio you. • Be sure to have bathory/evil druid armor, to negate dark soul strike. |
• Anubis is your main target here, the exp you can get from a single anubis is 28,000 base exp and 22,000 job exp. This exp is incredibly high, so don't pass up on this one. • Be sure to have bathory/evil druid armor, to negate dark soul strike. • You can also enter the portal on the center if you want to hunt Pasanas. |
